STRONG COFFEE
Barista House is a family business located at Ovino Shopping Mall, Kafumbe Mukasa Road in Kisenyi ,Kampala, Uganda. We produce high quality coffee grown and carefully processed by women in coffee on the slopes of Mt Rwenzori, right on the Ugandan border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Our coffee cups at 82 and has a round smooth body with a sweet fruity background. Our flavour profile has notes of caramel, chocolate, jasmine,spicy notes and citrus.
We produce both Robusta and Arabica coffee varieties roasted, grinded and packed under our label, Rwenzori Gold.
We began in 2018 as a barista training school. Now we have a cafe and shop as well. We sell coffee beans and brewing equipment.
We are also proud to introduce our own range of coffee hand sanitizer, coffee hair oil and coffee soap, upcycled from coffee by-products at our farm.

At Barista House, we train young women and men in specialty coffee brewing and barista skills. This includes learning to make cafe latte, cappuccino, mocca, V60, chemex, siphon, aero press and French press, as well as mocktails, juices, smoothies and milkshakes.
We provide valuable skills to young people that help them to find employment in Ugandan cafes and restaurants.
